Yes, we keep sailing certificates from previous flotillas on file and can add them to your new booking. However, if you completed an ICC certificate with us, we do not receive a copy of your full ICC certificate, so you'll need to send it to us directly for your next booking. We recommend shoes with a lighter colour sole that you are comfortable wearing throughout the day. Many guests wear trainers, tennis shoes, deck shoes, or sturdy sandals. For Beach Club, Sailing and Alpine Holidays, you can book flights and transfers as part of a fully ATOL-protected package. If flights are included, they will be added to your invoice and must be paid along with your 25% holiday deposit. Yes, helmets are provided with the bikes. Guided rides are available twice a day, and you are also welcome to take the bikes out exploring independently. The bike guide can advise on routes.

No pre-work is required for the competent crew course. Everything is covered during the practical course in Greece, with all theory and skills delivered on-site.

Yes, non-residents can use the beach club with a day pass, which gives full access to the beach club, watersports, fitness classes, yoga and biking. Villas can be booked with optional access to the Beach Club, which includes unlimited windsurfing, sailing, SUP, kayaking, yoga and fitness classes. Paid extras such as RYA sailing courses, guided bike rides, kids and teen activities and group excursions are also available. Activity bookings are made at the Beach Club at the start of your week, with yoga and fitness timetables posted weekly.

Yes, you can usually add a guest after booking, subject to availability. Contact the team with the new guest’s details and we will update your booking and send a revised invoice. You may also need to log in to your account to complete their details and pay any difference.

If you do not yet hold Competent Crew, we can arrange a course beforehand. Bring your original certificates, as the port police may ask to see them. For skippering your own boat we recommend Day Skipper level, though we run mixed-experience fleets with a lead skipper for support.

No, there is no pre-holiday theory for the Competent Crew certificate. All the training is done with our instructors on the water during your week. (The ICC is different and can include an online theory element.)

No. Every chalet has English-speaking hosts, ski school teaches in English from age three, and resort staff in all three destinations speak English. A few phrases go a long way for the bakery run but you'll be understood without them.

Our Feel Viana season runs May to October. June to September offers the warmest sea and most consistent wind for windsurf / SUP / kite. May and late October are quieter and cooler , a good shout if you want the hotel with fewer guests.

For our Greek and French operations we strongly prefer EU passport holders so you can work without a visa. We can sometimes assist with visas for niche skill sets, but candidates with the right to work in the EU are processed first.

Yes. Beach Club, sailing and chalet roles include accommodation in or near the resort. We share the size and standard of the accommodation in your offer letter so you know what you are accepting.

For most overseas seasonal roles we cover the cost of flights to and from your placement. The detail is confirmed in writing once you have an offer.

Yes. The form has space to list qualifications you are currently working towards plus expected completion dates. For some roles we will sponsor the final certification; for others (yacht skipper, dinghy instructor) you must arrive qualified.

We read every application within two weeks. If you are shortlisted we will set up a video call. If we are not progressing your application we will email and tell you so.

We do video calls first. For some roles (yacht crew, watersports instructors) we will invite you to a one-day team day at our UK office ahead of the season. We cover travel for that day.

Lixouri Bay on Kefalonia is our go-to for first-time families: its own sandy beach, a safe sailing area, family rooms and apartments, and kids activity sessions. Stira Bay on Evia is quieter and closer to Athens. Feel Viana at Cabedelo suits older kids and teens who want Atlantic wind and waves.

Our Greek beach clubs don't run a supervised kids club: kids activity sessions are included, with kit and coaching for every age, and parents look after their children on the beach and on the water. At Feel Viana in Portugal an English-speaking kids club for ages 4 to 12 is available on request.

No. Our Intro to Sailing week is built for complete beginners and covers the RYA Competent Crew syllabus over 6 days. For the Kefalonia Flotilla and West Coast Flotilla we recommend at least Day Skipper level if you're skippering your own boat, but we run mixed-experience fleets with lead-skipper support for every anchorage.

On a flotilla you skipper your own yacht but sail as part of a small group with a professional lead skipper on a support boat. They brief you each morning, help with tricky anchorages and handle any emergencies. On a bareboat yacht charter you're completely on your own and need to hold at least an ICC or RYA Day Skipper qualification. Our yacht charter offering sits in between: we'll pair you with a crewed skipper for the week if you prefer.

Ski lessons are not bundled into the holiday price, because different guests need different lesson levels and group sizes. We pre-arrange English-speaking group or private lessons at your resort based on your ability before you travel. Group lessons are typically around EUR 150 to EUR 200 for a 6-day morning course; private lessons run EUR 300 to EUR 600 per day depending on resort and season.

Val Thorens sits at 2,300m with pistes to 3,230m, the highest resort in Europe, so it's snow-sure from late November to early May. Meribel is the pretty wooden-chalet heart of the Three Valleys at 1,450m, lively après. Vaujany is the quiet alternative, on the separate Grand Domaine lift system (250km of piste lift-linked to Alpe d'Huez) with far fewer crowds and better value. Les Arcs, new for winter 2027, is our own catered chalet in the old hamlet of Les Granges: ski-in ski-out via two pistes from Arc 1600, a free funicular from the valley, and the 425km Paradiski linked to La Plagne.

At Hotel Le Sherpa in Val Thorens and Hotel & Spa Le Mottaret in Méribel, yes: both sit on the slopes. Chalet Sika in Vaujany is 100m from the lift station, and at Chalet La Grange d'Alice two pistes from Arc 1600 finish at the hamlet, with the funicular 150m away.

It depends where you stay. Chalet La Grange d'Alice in Les Arcs is fully catered by our chalet team: breakfast, afternoon tea and 6 dinners with wine. Hotel Le Sherpa and Hotel & Spa Le Mottaret are half-board hotels with breakfast and a 5-course dinner every evening. Chalet Sika in Vaujany is self-catered, with a chef available on request.

Yes, the skipper of each yacht needs to be qualified and experienced. If you would like a confidence boost, add a day's refresher with an instructor, or a skipper onboard (who needs their own cabin).
