Your 2026 Central Ionian Route
Our 2026 Skippered Flotilla begins and ends from our yacht base in Sami, Kefalonia, following a relaxed one week itinerary through the heart of the Ionian Sea — perfect for first-time sailors and families looking for a mix of adventure and relaxation.
Arrival Day (Thursday): Sami, Kefalonia
Arrive in the charming harbour town of Sami, nestled between lush hills and turquoise waters. Meet our flotilla team, get settled on board and enjoy a welcome dinner with your fellow sailors.
1st Day – Polis Bay, Ithaka
Sail across to Ithaka, legendary home of Odysseus. Drop anchor in beautiful Polis Bay – ideal for swimming and exploring.
2nd Day – Sivota, Lefkas
Head north to the lively harbour of Sivota on Lefkas Island. With its friendly waterfront tavernas and calm anchorage, it’s a favourite stop for families.
3rd Day – Kalamos, Kalamos
A short hop east brings you to Kalamos, a tranquil island with crystal-clear waters and a traditional Greek welcome.
4th Day – Vathi, Meganissi
Sail to the charming harbour of Vathi on Meganissi. Enjoy wandering the cobbled streets, paddleboarding in nearby coves or a relaxed dinner by the sea.
5th Day – Vathi, Ithaka
Return to Ithaka, this time to its capital, Vathi — a beautiful horseshoe bay surrounded by colourful houses and mountain views.
6th Day – Sami, Kefalonia
A leisurely sail back to Sami, with plenty of time for swimming stops along the way. In the evening, gather with the flotilla for a farewell meal and a toast to an unforgettable week on the water.
