Arrival Day – Sami, Kefalonia
Your Ionian adventure begins in Sami, a lively and welcoming harbor town on Kefalonia’s east coast. Set against dramatic mountain scenery and fronted by sparkling blue water, Sami offers the perfect starting point for a week at sea.
Arrive, settle into your yacht, and take time to explore the waterfront promenade lined with cafés, tavernas, and small shops. If you arrive early, consider visiting the breathtaking Melissani Cave, where sunlight streams through the cave roof and lights up the underground lake in brilliant shades of blue.

Day 1 – Polis Bay, Ithaka
We set sail for Polis Bay on the northwest coast of Ithaka. This wide, sheltered bay is known for its calm, crystal-clear waters and peaceful atmosphere — the perfect first night at anchor.
Polis is steeped in mythology, believed to be near the ancient palace of Odysseus. Today, it’s a tranquil anchorage ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, or simply unwinding after your first sail. As the sun sets behind the hills, the bay glows golden – a magical first evening for the flotilla.

Day 2 – Sivota, Lefkas
Next, we sail to the picturesque harbor of Sivota on Lefkas Island. This charming fishing village wraps around a natural bay filled with yachts and framed by waterfront tavernas.

Day 7 – Departure Day, Sami
After one final Ionian sunrise, it’s time to say goodbye to your yacht and the new friends you’ve made along the way. Enjoy a relaxed breakfast onboard or along the waterfront before departing the boats by 10am, ready for transfers, flights home – or perhaps continuing the adventure at our Lixouri Bay Beach Club for a second week of sunshine and watersports.
