One of the best beach holidays I have had for many years. My son and I have a regular annual sailing holiday and this was superb. The place is extremely well managed by Hugo and Local Greek family and it really does feel like you are staying with friends, highly recommended

Beach club holidays in Greece.
Sheltered bays, all the kit included.
Greek beach clubs are our oldest patch. Lixouri Bay sits on the western lobe of Kefalonia, sheltered from the prevailing meltemi by the headland behind it; Stira Bay opens onto the Gulf of Evia with a long sandy beach and the kind of flat afternoon water that makes learning a windsurf rig a forgiving experience. Both sites run the same all-inclusive programme: watersports kit on the beach, qualified instructors at the rig store, daily yoga, Pilates and BlitzFitness sessions, kids clubs from age four upwards, and full board with house wines included at dinner.
The season runs from May to early October. May and late September are the quiet weeks, with sharper offers and a calmer house feel; July and August are family peak with full kids clubs and busier evening service. We pick the date by what suits you, not by what we are trying to fill.

Each Greek beach club sits on its own bay with its own watersports kit, kids club and chef. Pick by character, not just by date.
KefaloniaKefaloniaIonian islands
Lixouri Bay is on the Paliki peninsula, the quieter western half of Kefalonia. The bay is sheltered, the water is shallow for a long way out, and the watersports station sits a minute from the rooms. Off-site, Lixouri town is a 10-minute drive for tavernas and the working ferry across to Argostoli. Best for couples and families who want a holiday that is genuinely active but does not feel like a sports camp.
EviaEviaAegean islands
Stira Bay is a 90-minute transfer from Athens via the bridge across to Evia. The beach is one of the longest sandy stretches on the Greek mainland and the bay holds flat water through the afternoon thermal. Kids club runs alongside the main rig store, so families with separate sailing and watersports plans can split the day. The food kitchen leans more Athens-modern than rustic-village.
Real activity, no contractual fun.
Plain-English pricing, qualified instructors, the same booking team for every enquiry. Phone 01548 288459 Mon-Fri 9am-6pm.
We have run beach clubs in Greece since 2001. The format is consistent across both sites: half-board accommodation in family-run rooms or studios, daily watersports tuition with RYA dinghy instructors and BWSF windsurf coaches on the kit, three yoga and Pilates sessions a day, BlitzFitness HIIT classes for guests who want something harder, and a kids club for four to twelve year olds split by age band. The point of the programme is that you can do as much or as little as suits the day. No-one is pressuring you onto a boat at 9am if you want a coffee and a book on the terrace.
Food is half-board: cooked breakfast plus dinner with a starter, two mains and a dessert, served at a fixed time so the kitchen runs to a single rhythm. Lunch is paid for separately at a beachside taverna, which keeps daytime flexible if you want to head into town or take a hire boat out. House wines, beer and soft drinks are included with dinner; the bar takes a tab for anything else.
Flights to Kefalonia run from a wide UK spread in summer; Athens flights for Evia are year-round. The team builds the flights into a written quote for your departure airport rather than bundling them into the headline figure, because flying from Bristol against a family of five from Edinburgh is a different problem.

We keep the long-form on Greece itself, the regions, the climate, ferry connections and what to do off-resort, in the destination glossary. This page is for choosing a beach-club week. The glossary page is for everything that surrounds it.
Or, go a different way.
Four programmes, one team. If a beach club is not the right shape of week, here is where the other three live. Sailing in the Ionian, summer in the French Alps, ski weeks in the Three Valleys.

Sailing Holidays
Flotillas, yacht charter and tuition weeks across the Ionian and Saronic. From absolute beginners to skippered crews sailing their own boat.

Mountain Holidays
Alpine family clubs, guided walking, mountain biking and climbing across the French Alps. Summer programmes running June to September.

Ski Holidays
Catered chalets and lift-door skiing in Val Thorens, Meribel and Vaujany. Small chalet sizes, friendly hosts, French Alps December to April.

Real people. Real holidays.
Just returned from another learn to sail, excellent tuition from Shirley ,used this company for many years now and always a good experience. Hope to return next year for yacht delivery and a flotilla.
Wonderful holiday in a beautiful location.Friendly, competent staff, many activities on offer, very good safety support for all water sports. Would love to see Optimists introduced for younger children learning to sail!
Yes. The headline price covers the full watersports kit on the beach (windsurfers, dinghies, paddleboards, kayaks), the instructor-led tuition sessions, BWSF windsurf coaching, RYA dinghy lessons, and the daily yoga and BlitzFitness sessions. Wetsuits and buoyancy aids are issued on the beach. Personal upgrades like a private 1:1 dinghy lesson or a kite course are bookable alongside, but you can do a complete beach-and-water week without paying anything extra.
The kids club runs morning and afternoon sessions for ages four to twelve, split into two age bands so the four-year-olds are not lost in the back of a 10-year-old swimming session. Activities cover beach games, watersports tasters, craft workshops and short walks. Both Lixouri and Stira have qualified UK-trained leaders and the same kit list. Kids under four are looked after one-to-one in the rooms by parents; we can arrange in-room babysitters at a separate cost.
Half-board: cooked breakfast and a sit-down dinner, both buffet-style with a chef-cooked main on rotation. Greek-leaning at Lixouri (lots of olive oil, local fish, Kefalonian wines), more international at Stira given its proximity to Athens. Lunch is taken separately at the beachside taverna or in town. Allergies and special diets are handled by the chef directly; flag them when you enquire and they go on the kitchen sheet for the week.
Mid-May, the first week of June and late September are the calmest, with sharper offer pricing and a more grown-up atmosphere. Mid-July through mid-August are the family peak, with full kids clubs and a busier evening service. Late June and the first half of September are the sweet spot for couples who want active days and a calmer dinner.
Kefalonia has direct UK flights from a wide spread of airports through summer. Stira is a 90-minute transfer from Athens, which has year-round connections from most UK airports. Transfers are bookable alongside the holiday and the team matches them to your flight times when they build the written quote.
