Wingfoiling has taken off faster than any watersport in years, and warm, steady-wind Greece is a fine place to take it up or get better. The gear is forgiving, the water is warm, and our beach teams coach it daily.
Where can you wingfoil in Greece?
Stira Bay on Evia is our standout: consistent summer winds, an RYA beach team and kit set up for foiling. Lixouri Bay in Kefalonia also works well with its reliable afternoon thermals. At both, the wing and foil kit is free to use with daily coaching included.
Is wingfoiling hard to learn?
It is one of the quicker watersports to get going on, especially if you already windsurf or kitesurf. With warm water, steady wind and a coach on the beach, most people are up on the board and starting to foil within a few coached sessions.
What is the wind like?
Steady, manageable summer breezes rather than gales, which is ideal for learning to foil. Stira Bay's consistent winds and Kefalonia's afternoon thermals both suit progression without being intimidating.
