The pitch on these weeks is different. Less hand-holding, more autonomy. Our lead skippers and chalet hosts know the area inside-out, and the kit, the food and the routing are picked for confident travellers who don't need a kids club but do want a clean handover from booking through to the lifts or the helm.

Every activity below is bundled into the holidays in this list. The pace and the technical level step up, but the kit and the support is consistent across the programme.
Bases for a serious week.
Kefalonia for the west-coast sailing routes and the Mount Aenos walks. Val Thorens for snow-sure altitude and lift-door off-piste access.

Bareboat or skippered.
Yacht charter from our Kefalonia base goes bareboat for ICC or RYA Day Skipper holders, or skippered for any group preferring a professional aboard. Boats are well-maintained 35 to 45 footers; routing is yours to plan with our local team's input on overnight harbours, weather windows and provisioning.
Exposed anchorages and longer passages.
The West Coast Flotilla rewards prior experience. Longer day passages, more exposed anchorages, the option of overnight Atlantic-facing bays. Lead skipper support stays on the radio rather than tied to the back of every boat. Best in May, June or September when the Maistro is steady but not punishing.
High-altitude snow-sure week.
Le Sherpa Val Thorens sits at 2,300m with pistes to 3,230m. Off-piste lines drop straight from the chalet door; the Three Valleys lift system gives 600km of linked piste to play with. Suit confident skiers and boarders who want to push the day out.

At least an ICC (International Certificate of Competence) or an RYA Day Skipper. We will see your certificate before you leave the dock. If you would prefer to sail with a professional skipper, we can pair one to your boat at the booking stage.
The standard Kefalonia Flotilla covers the sheltered south and east coasts with day passages of 2 to 4 hours and protected overnight harbours. The West Coast Flotilla heads north and west, with longer 4 to 6 hour passages, more exposed anchorages, and the option of Atlantic-facing overnights at Fiscardo or beyond. We recommend at least Day Skipper level for the West Coast.
Not by default. The chalet sits at the foot of pistes that include direct off-piste lines, but we can arrange a local guide from a partner mountain school for any day you want one. The Three Valleys is large enough that we strongly recommend a guide for serious off-piste days.
